Creamy white wine chicken recipe

It’s a creamy yet light dish that’s perfect for summer.

To make this recipe, you will need:

  • Four chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • One tablespoon of olive oil
  • One shallot
  • Two cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (less if you’ve got a fan oven!)
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large shallow pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 3 minutes per side
  3. Add shallot, garlic, and white wine to the pan. Cook until the wine has reduced by half
  4. Stir in cream and parsley and cook until the sauce has thickened, for about 2 minutes
  5. Transfer the chicken and sauce to a baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through

Serve with new potatoes and green beans – delicious!
