Creamy white wine chicken recipe

It’s a creamy yet light dish that’s perfect for summer.
To make this recipe, you will need:
- Four chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- One tablespoon of olive oil
- One shallot
- Two cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius (less if you’ve got a fan oven!)
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large shallow pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 3 minutes per side
- Add shallot, garlic, and white wine to the pan. Cook until the wine has reduced by half
- Stir in cream and parsley and cook until the sauce has thickened, for about 2 minutes
- Transfer the chicken and sauce to a baking dish and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through
Serve with new potatoes and green beans – delicious!
